REMOTE CONTROL METHOD AND SYSTEM

Information on the operating state of information collecting equipment is acquired and transmitted in real time to the remote controller of a monitor station by the controller of an observation station which controls the information collecting equipment between the remote observation station equipped with information equipment and the monitor station which exchanges information with the observation station. The remote controller checks the information collecting equipment for operation normality from the received information on the operation state and resets the observation station controller if judging that the operation of the information collecting equipment is abnormal. In this constitution, if the observation station controller freezes, the observation station controller and an information exchange line laid between it and the remote controller resets the information collecting equipment with a reset means branched from a hub arranged near the observation station controller and provided separately.
