IN-CAR LAN SYSTEM SERVING AS POWER SUPPLY

An in−car LAN system serving as power supply comprises a main controller having a control signal generation means which generates a control signal for controlling various car−mounted electric apparatuses and outputting the control signal to a power line for supplying power to each electric apparatus, and an electric apparatus control unit provided between the power supply line and each electric apparatus to sense the control signal from the power line and to control each electric apparatus. In this system, a generated control signal comprises an ID for specifying each electric apparatus. Otherwise, the electric apparatus control unit has a transmitter which transmits a sensed control signal with the ID added, and the electric apparatus a receiver which receives the control signal and discriminates the added ID and a control switch which controls the electric apparatus according to the received control signal.
