A processing plotter for sheet type material has a machine table for support of a material plate and a numerically controlled machine tool for processing the material plate. The plate is held on the machine table using a vacuum pressure system. A unit is provided for automatic supply of material plates that has two parallel lever arms (5) and a suction beam (7) that is used to pick up a sheet from a stack of sheets (15) and move it to the machine table.
