The method includes the steps of performing an initiation meeting, performing a pre-invent session, performing pre-work and performing an invent session. The method further designs a business opportunity environment, develops the business opportunity environment, demonstrates the business opportunity environment and refines a business plan. Additionally, the method performs an alignment meeting, performs a commitment meeting and markets a pilot. Another method for systematically and consistently developing a business opportunity is also disclosed. The method includes the steps of performing an initiation meeting, performing a pre-invent session, performing pre-work and performing an invent session. The method further validates a business venture, designs a business opportunity environment, develops the business opportunity environment and demonstrates the business opportunity environment. Additionally, the method refines a business plan, performs an alignment meeting, performs a commitment meeting and markets a pilot. A computer readable medium on which is embedded computer software comprising a set of instructions for executing one or more of the above mentioned methods is also disclosed.
