The present invention relates, among other things, to a device for indication of a work position of and control of a length of stroke of at least one hydraulic working cylinder (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d), which working cylinder (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d) comprises a first working piston side and a first working piston rod side, and the device comprising a hydraulic control cylinder (2) having a control piston side and a control piston rod side, at least one control device (6) having at least one gauge (6.1, 6.2), at least one reversing valve (5), at least one pump (4), at least one piping system and at least one container (3) with a hydraulic fluid. The device is characterized in that said piping system is designed in such a way that each of said first working piston side and said control piston side are in fluid connection with said container (3), without being in direct fluid connection with each other at the same time as said first working piston rod side and said control piston rod side are in fluid connection with each other.
