The carpet has a needle-bonded nonwoven structure (1), with a ground weave and a covering layer (3). The covering layer is composed of an uncarded nonwoven, with at least two mixed fiber structures (4,5) distributed in part-zones with a flowing and irregular contour outline, which are visible at the nonwoven surface as pattern shadings. The fiber structures are in different colors and of different fiber materials, and preferably of synthetic and/or natural fibers.
