The assembly to bond a nonwoven by needling has a longitudinal drawing unit (7), downstream of the needling machine (2), to take the emerging needle-bonded web (10) from the needling zone (1). The leading drawing roller (8) is also the final material transport roller of the transport rollers (6.8) at the needling machine. The drawing stage has at least two parallel rollers (8,9), each with a rough steel clothing surface structure, with faster rotating speeds in the direction of material travel. The gaps between the drawing rollers can be adjusted, to set the drawing action. A pressure roller can be at a small gap from the leading drawing roller. |
