Removing pollutants from room air comprises feeding room circulating air via a wall or standing device (1) which has been saturated with calcium, salt and oils to purify the air and eliminate bacteria on different types of clay granules filters (13, 15) so that all moist body air pollutants must come into contact with the outer wall of the saturated clay filter bodies. The bacteria are held in the calcium, salts and oils and die off. Preferred Features: The circulating air is sucked via a fan (14) over a heating belt (8) and on a moisture bath into the charged calcium granules filter. The heating belt heats the air stream (4) in winter or on cool days.
