摘要 The invention makes it possible to increase the transmission rate of existing communication lines or the transmitting capacity thereof. The inventive method consists in forming first and second analog signals from first and second sequences of digital information readouts on a transmission side. The first analog signal is formed from the difference between the values of the digital information readouts of the first sequence and the values of the digital information readouts of the second sequence which are taken in the points of the digital information readouts of the first sequence. The second analog signal is formed from the digital information readouts of the second sequence taken in the points of the digital information readouts of the second sequence, said points being situated between the points of the digital information readouts of the first sequence. The first and second analog signals being summed up, the integral analog signal is transmitted to a transmission line. On a receiving side, the first sequence of the digital information readouts is reconstructed by discretising the integrated analog signal with the aid of a bit-timing frequency. Afterwards, the first sequence of the digital information readouts is converted into the analog signal of the first sequence with the aid of a specified sampling function, said analog signal of the first sequence being subtracted from the integral analog signal, the second sequence of the digital information readouts is reconstructed from the residual analog signal thus obtained.
