NONSTRUCTURAL TRIM MODULE

A non−structural trim module (10) for a structural component of a vehicle, such as a vehicle door, includes a non−structural trim panel (12) and a wide variety of operational, convenience and design components attached at the trim module (10) manufacturing facility. In the preferred embodiment, the trim module (10) includes a single, integrated wire harness (26), a window actuator (18), a water barrier (40), and an integrated latch mini−module (14). The latter could alternatively be coupled to the vehicle door at the final assembly location.
