The fuel injector, for the direct fuel injection at an internal combustion motor, has an injector body (2) with a feed channel (20) to carry the fuel under a high pressure to the jet. The body has a hollow valve zone (22) leading into a valve drilling (21). The feed and a feed drilling (26) are at an obtuse angle (27) to each other, to form a connection at their intersection (39) of optimum strength. The feed drilling, acting as an initial throttle, branches from the valve laying surface (25) which defines the valve zone, and which is a chamfer in the injector body at the transit between the valve zone and the valve drilling.
