The bar (1) includes an adhesive surface (6) for securing it to the inside of the door or window frame. An independent claim is also included for a device with one or two opposing hollow bars as described above, which can be used to secure a blind or sunscreen to a frame by passing screws through the inner side (2) of the bar.
