The locking device (2) cooperates with a counter-bolt (131) on the guide (13) for the screen cloth and comprises a mounting (211) for securing it to the runner rails (14) for cover and/or the cover frame, a bolt (20) resiliently mounted inside the locking device casing (21) and an actuator mechanism (22). The locking device can adopt a first position where the counter-bolt cooperates with the bolt in a first direction, so that the bolt is pressed into the casing and does not act as an obstacle to the counter-bolt, and where the counter-bolt cooperates with the bolt in a second direction opposite to the first one so that the counter-bolt is fixed into position by the bolt. In a second position, the counter-bolt cooperates with the bolt in a second direction so that the counter-bolt pushes the bolt into the casing and prevents the bolt from acting as an obstacle to the counter-bolt, from which the bolt can be returned to the second position.
