The invention concerns an ophthalmic composition comprising at least an aqueous phase and a dendrimer-type polymer charge-free or with positive or negative charge. The invention also concerns the use of charge-free, positively or negatively charged dendrimers for producing persistence of an ophthalmic solution on the cornea of the eye.
