<p>The present invention is directed toward the use of antisense oligonucleotides that target human kinesin genes for treating diseases involving aberrant cell proliferation, particularly cancers such as colon cancer. Also, the invention is directed to a synergistic combination for treating cancer comprising a chemotherapeutic such as cisplatin and an antisense oligonucleotide that specifically inhibits human kinesin expression.</p> |
