The fuel feed system (10) to a combustion chamber, and especially for a vehicle heater, has a longitudinal feed channel section (16) in the flow direction. The channel section has a heater (38), to heat the fuel flowing around it. The channel is open at one end (20), and is covered by a closure (64) with the connections (72,74) for the heater. A holder has at least two holder components (42,44), which give the electrical contact between the connections and the heater. The heater is a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) type.
