PURPOSE: A method for carrying out washing stroke of a washing machine is provided to improve the washing force through an optimum washing algorithm by setting an optimum washing pattern according to washing conditions, thereby improving the washing efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A method for carrying out washing stroke of a washing machine includes the steps of determining a water level by sensing the volume of clothing through a first mode(S2), supplying water to the detergent dissolution level lower than a water level set in the first step through a second mode(S3), dissolving detergent through third and fourth modes(S7,S8), supplying water to the water level set in the first step(S10,S11), and carrying out the washing stroke(S13). In the first mode, a washing tub, a pulsator and clothing are integrally rotated. In the second mode, the washing tub and the pulsator are rotated at a same speed in the same direction with the clothing. In the third mode, relative speed is generated between the washing tub and the clothing and the pulsator is driven right and left in the fourth mode. |
