PURPOSE: A fuel filling efficiency improvement apparatus for an NG(Natural Gas) vehicle is provided to improve filling efficiency of fuel by cooling a gas tank in case of external air temperature to be over the reference value, and to prevent gas explosion by discharging leak gas forcibly. CONSTITUTION: A gas tank(1) is installed in a housing(3), and the housing is connected to an air conditioner duct(6) through a connecting pipe(7). A and B valves(8,9) are installed in the connection portion of the air conditioner duct and the connecting pipe and an outlet of the housing, and a temperature detecting sensor(10) and a gas detecting sensor(11) are mounted in the housing. An electronic control unit(12) receives information from sensors, and controls valves and an air conditioner(4) to cool the gas tank by supplying cool air to the housing if temperature of the housing is over the reference value. The electronic control unit blows external air to the housing by operating the A valve and a blower(5) in detecting leak, and forcibly discharges leak gas through the outlet.
