<p>Communication apparatus in which an ultra wideband device (1, 2, 3, 4) can operate in close proximity to a cellular communication device (5) comprises an ultra wideband device (UWB) controller and a cellular communication device. The UWB controller allocates time slots for operation of the ultra wideband device which are distinct from the standard operational time slots allocated to the cellular device. The UWB device is controlled such that operation of the UWB device only takes place in allocated time slots which have been chosen not to conflict with standard operational time slots allocated to the cellular device.</p> |
