<p>The invention relates to a cable tie moulded from a thermoplastic composition containing at least one block copolyester. The invention also relates to the use of such a cable tie in automotive and electrical applications. Advantages of the cable tie according to the invention include a favourable combination of properties; e.g. sub-zero toughness at temperatures as low as -35 DEG C and heat ageing resistance up to about 125 DEG C, and/or long term weathering- and UV-resistance. The cable tie according to the invention can replace several other, concurrently used, cable ties of different designs or made from different materials.</p> |
