<p>In an apparatus (1) for cutting-through, a material for a sewing machine (100) is the sewed material placed between a blade (12) and the blade (12) receptacle (13). The blade (12) and/or the blade (12) receptacle (13) can move one to another for cutting-through the sewed material and producing hole parts at the sewed material. The cutting-through device (1) comprises a drive shaft (8), rotatably supported by an arm (101c) of the sewing machine, and a drive element for rotating the drive shaft (8), whereas the drive element includes a motor (2) and an air cylinder (16). The cutting-through device (1) further comprises a tooth rail member (10), fitted to the drive shaft (8), for conversion of the rotatory motion of the drive shaft (8) to the linear motion and for securing the blade (12) and/or the blade (12) receptacle (13) movement for touching the blade (12) to one another. The drive element is arranged in a position, shifted in transverse direction from the axis, passing through the blade (12) and a needle.</p> |
