PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for guiding local information using moving picture is provided to easily search a destination by directly seeing a moving picture to be moved from a current location to a destination through a monitor. CONSTITUTION: A terminal judges as to whether a desired region is an interior region or an exterior region when an input of a touch screen is existed in a stand-by state(S100,S101). The terminal displays interior facilities when the interior region is selected, and a user selects a desired interior facility among displayed interior facilities(S102). Data stored in a computer, regarding the interior facility, are loaded(S103). An animation for indicating the interior facility among loaded data is displayed on a monitor(S105). Moving picture data for photographing a scene to be moved from the terminal to the interior facility is showed through the monitor(S107).
