PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lightly move a seat in the forth and back direction of a chair in which the seat is movable following to standing-up and falling-down states of a back rest. SOLUTION: A back frame 14 rotatably provided in the forth and back direction of the chair by a supporting shaft 13 fixed on the back part of the chair and extended up and downward from the supporting shaft 13, a hanging member 7 whose top part is rotatably connected and hung by means of a shaft on a fixed part and which is rocked in the front and the back directions around the top part as a center, a seat frame 8 rotatably connected with the bottom part of the hanging member 7 and the bottom part 14b of the back frame 14 and provided under an approximately horizontal condition and an adjusting means 31 for a resistance force against rocking of the hanging member 7 are provided.
