PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Langevin type vibrator capable of realizing a miniaturization. SOLUTION: This vibrator is provided with a conversion part 2 for converting an electric signal to a mechanical vibration; a back mass 1 one end surface of which is mounted to one end surface of the conversion part 2; and a horn 3 a base part 31 of which is mounted to the other surface of the conversion part 2. The horn 3 is tightened to the back mass 1 by a bolt while the conversion part 2 is placed between them and it has a structure which is vibrated at a half wavelength mode.
