PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a plurality of coating lines and interlockingly operate the lines. SOLUTION: An interlocking apparatus comprises an upstream side main control apparatus 27 for connecting a plurality of coating lines 2, 3 through a dancer roll apparatus 4 for connection and generating a main speed instruction 37 to the coating line 2 on the upstream side, a speed difference detection apparatus 58 for detecting a speed difference 59 between the lines from the dancer roll apparatus 4 for connection, and a downstream side main control apparatus 47 for generating a main speed instruction 57 to the coating line 3 on the downstream side and the downstream side main control apparatus 47 is made capable of amending the main speed instruction 57 to the coating line 3 on the downstream side based on the main speed instruction 37 to the coating line 2 on the upstream side and the speed difference 59 between lines detected from the dancer roll apparatus 4 for connection.
