PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas dissolving apparatus capable of dissolving many kinds of gases and purifying water effectively. SOLUTION: This gas dissolving apparatus comprises a liquid supplying means for supplying a liquid to an airtight tank 1, a gas supplying means for supplying a gas to the tank 1 or the liquid to be supplied to the tank 1, and a flow passage extending means arranged in the tank 1 for extending the length of such a flow passage that the liquid supplied to the tank 1 reaches a liquid discharging port so that the solubility of the gas in the supplied liquid is enhanced and the undissolved gas is restrained from being discharged from the liquid discharging port.
