PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a battery cable 1 capable of steeply reducing impact force transmitted to a battery terminal through the battery cable 1 when the impact is applied to a vehicle from an outside. SOLUTION: A terminal 4 of the battery cable 1 is provided with a cutout 4c as a breakable part between an electrically conducted part 4a connected to a core wire 1a of the battery cable 1 and a ring shaped terminal part 4b connected to the battery terminal. When the impact applied to the vehicle from the outside is transmitted to the battery terminal through the battery cable 1 and external force is excessively applied to the terminal 4 at that time, the breakable part (the cutout 4c) of the terminal 4 is broken, and thereby the terminal 4 is divided into the electrically conducted part 4a side and the terminal part 4b side. As a result, the impact force applied to the battery terminal through the battery cable 1 can be shut-off. Therefore, the impact force applied to the starter can be reduced.
