PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die casting device and a die casting method in which a powder releasing agent is fed to a product cavity part, a plunger sleeve part and a runner with excellent balance, and an excellent die cast product is manufactured. SOLUTION: The die casting device 1 comprises a die 2 comprising the product cavity part 21 to produce the die cast product 8, the plunger sleeve part 22 and the runner 23, an evacuation device 4 to evacuate the inside of the die 2, a powder feed source 5 to feed the powder releasing agent 6 in the die 2, and a powder discharging pin 3 disposed in the runner 23 in a retractable manner. The powder discharging pin 3 comprises a first opening part 311 connected to the powder feed source 5 when the pin is advanced into the runner 23 and a second opening part 312 to be opened in the plunger sleeve part 22.
