PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for fixing a shelf board to a knock down type bookshelf. SOLUTION: A support part A is provided with inserting pins 5 protrusively set on the back of a base piece 4 and a support piece 2 protrusively formed on the surface thereof. The inserting pins 5 of the support part A are inserted into support holes 6 provided on each of facing surfaces 1', 1'a of a pair of front and back columns 1, 1a relatively fixed with each other, making the support piece 2 project from each of the facing surfaces 1', 1'a. A retaining piece 7 in an L shape provided on an end of the shelf board 3 and consisting of a horizontal part piece 7b and a longitudinal part piece 7a is retained on the support piece 2. A side end 17 of the retaining piece 7 is faced to a position where the side end 17 of the retaining piece 7 comes into contact with a surface of the base piece 4 of the support part A.
