PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer wherein a smell of a solvent dose not bother a user and an image does not have disturbance due to variation in recording media, dust in an air, or a difference of water contents in paper sheets. SOLUTION: This inkjet printer forms an image by using a recording liquid wherein a coloring agent and a component of 1.0μm or less being not dissolved in water are dissolved and/or dispersed in a solvent. The inkjet printer comprises a means for deodorizing a volatile matter of the solvent or the part thereof or reducing the smell of the volatile matter, a means for removing or suppressing the dust in a recording medium or an air, and a means for treating a water content of the recording medium.
