PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope production method and an endoscope by which an endoscope insertion part can easily and surely be coated with a coating film and washing work, or the like, can be simplified or omitted by removing this coating film after using the endoscope. SOLUTION: By soaking the endoscope insertion part 5 in an applying liquid 10 collected in a container 50, e.g. the applying liquid 10 for forming a film is applied to an outer surface 54 and solidified or hardened to form the removable coating film. The applying liquid 10, which contains high molecular matters, can be solidified or hardened by (1) a method for solidifying it by drying, (2) a method for hardening it by irradiating it with electromagnetic waves or radiation beams such as light (ultraviolet beams, or the like), X-rays,α-beam,β-beam,γ-beam, (3) a method for hardening it by heating and (4) a method for applying the applying liquid 10 obtained by melting mainly the high molecular matters and then cooling it for solidifying.
