PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain image hard copies for medical use which have superior gradation characteristics and a high image quality by preventing generation of a pseudo contour and an aged deterioration in image gradation characteristics. SOLUTION: In an ink jet recorder for recording images for medical use with the use of three or more kinds of ink having the same color tone and different concentrations, when a recordable maximum density is Dmax, a recordable minimum density is Dmin, k1=0 and k2=1.0, an ink adhesion amount to a recording medium is controlled to be nearly constant at a solid recording time in a density range from Dmin+k1×(Dmax-Dmin) to Dmin+k2×(Dmax-Dmin). |
