PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin roll which has enough adhesive strength and durability between a metal core and an outer cylinder, and prevents the occurrence of a crack at a low temperature when the surface of the roll is polished and the enlargement of a hurt, into a crack even if it occurred. SOLUTION: In a method for initially producing the resin roll, the cylindrically molded synthetic resin outer cylinder 1 is arranged to cover the periphery of the metal core 2, a heat-curable adhesive 3 is packed in the clearance between the metal core 2 and the outer cylinder 1, and the adhesive is cured to integrate the whole roll by adhesion. The whole roll is integrated by primarily curing the adhesive while the outer cylinder 1 is kept at the first temperature and secondarily curing the adhesive by heating it at the second temperature higher than the first temperature. |
