PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for fitting the bobbin for a longitudinal sealing tape of a longitudinal sealing tape feed mechanism for a paper container which enables the use of the collarless bobbin for the longitudinal tape. SOLUTION: In the apparatus 2 for fitting the bobbin for the longitudinal sealing tape, the longitudinal tape feed mechanism is used for longitudinal sealing by covering a longitudinal seam exposed to the inner surface of the paper container formed from a packaging material raw material having a base layer of cardboard and the outermost layers of the surface, and the back of a heat-fusible synthetic resin on the support 4 side of a bobbin fitting shaft 7 supported freely rotatably by the support 4. A collar 8 supporting the bobbin 19 by being contacted with one side of the bobbin 19 fitted to the shaft 7 is provided. On the tip side of the shaft 7, a collar 9 supporting the bobbin 19 by being contacted with the other side of the bobbin 19 fitted to the shaft 7 is provided attachably/detachably.
