<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car-mount camera device which can be used on-board as a TV telephone, a security monitoring device, an emergency device, etc. SOLUTION: This car-mount camera device comprises a camera 11 mounted on-board for taking a picture of inside the compartment, a swing mechanism part 12 for changing the orientation of the camera 11, a communication part 13 for establishing communication with the outside, and a control part 16 for controlling the camera 11, the swing mechanism 12 and the communication part 13. The control part 16 sets orientation and zoom magnification of the camera 11 so that a picture of occupants on a driver's seat and the seat next to it can be taken by controlling the swing mechanism part 12 and the camera 11 before or after taking a picture with the camera 11.</p> |
