PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic video instrument with an alarm of such a type that a sensor dwells in the esophagus for detecting the symptoms of pulmonary thrombosis and embolism since a detecting instrument for the disease which is developed after a surgery does not exist at present. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic echo sensor arranged inside the esophagus of a patient is changed into a shape with which the sensor is turned into a direction for normally observing a pulmonary artery. A pulmonary artery shadow plotted by the ultrasonic video instrument is followed by a computer image processing, the alarm is issued when the density of ultrasonic wave reflection is changed by the coming of thrombus to the pulmonary artery. |
