PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample processing apparatus the fluid-mechanical resistance of which is made low. SOLUTION: This apparatus 1 for processing a sample 2 comprises a body 3 equipped with a collecting chamber 4 connectable to a pump 5 for sucking/ dispensing a fluid from/to the chamber 4, a separating chamber 6 adjacent to the chamber 4 and for extracting the solid phase and eluting organic or inorganic particles 7 separated from the sample 2, and an opening 8 for releasing the particles 7. The apparatus 1 is related to individual pipette tips as well as SPE microplates. The apparatus 1 comprises a capillary 9 connected to the chamber 4 or the body 8 and has a packing 10 which is used as the chamber 6 for extracting the solid phase from the organic or inorganic particles 7 separated from the sample 2.
