PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of a work by making the display of a liquid crystal display part that displays postal codes, address codes, or the like, capable of being easily read by an operator. SOLUTION: An environment in which the contents of the display can be more easily read is realized by automatically determining a data size, or the like, which are displayed on every liquid crystal display part of each sorting pocket in the liquid crystal display part provided in every sorting pocket of a sorter to effectively utilize the display area of the liquid crystal display part.
