PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemocatharsis device of the sustained slowing type capable of more accurately controlling the amount of water removed from a patient with a renal disease or multiple organ failure in treating the patient. SOLUTION: The hemocatharsis device of the sustained slowing type comprises at least either a dialysis fluid supply means or a filtering fluid replacement means; a fluid discharge means; and a blood circulation path. All the means have respective storage containers and the hemocatharsis device has a connection pipe for connection to the plurality of storage containers, and a measuring instrument for measuring a given change in amount of air inside each of the storage containers which moves via the connection pipe.
