PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer sheet, with which a transfer having high responsiveness to image signals is possible, and a method for forming an image employing therewith. SOLUTION: Here provided are (1) the transfer sheet at least having a releasing layer including a foaming agent developing gas through thermal decomposition and a coloring material layer in the order named on a support, (2) a method for forming an image on an image receiving sheet having an imagingly heating process of the releasing layer of the transfer sheet up to the thermal decomposition temperature of the foaming agent or higher by employing the transfer sheet, a heating process of the coloring material layer or the coloring material layer and the releasing layer and a transferring process of the coloring material layer to the image receiving sheet, (3) a method for forming an image on the image receiving sheet having an imagingly heating process of the releasing layer and the coloring material layer of the transfer sheet up to the thermal decomposition temperature or higher and a transferring process of the coloring material layer to the image receiving sheet and (4) a method for forming an image on a ceramic material having a process for baking the image after the image formed by the method is arranged on the ceramic material. |
