PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sieving machine capable of properly sieving tea leaves from the ingredients of the leaves and improving the workability of the sieving work. SOLUTION: The sieving machine is provided with a holding part 1 for holding charged tea leaves, a sieving part formed in the holding part 1 and sieving the tea leaves 1 and the ingredients of the tea leaves in the holding part and a motor 5, a leaf spring 4, etc., to vibrate the holding part 1 to apply a sieving action of the sieving part to the tea leaves. The tea leaves are dropped under the sieving part by vibration and the ingredients of the tea leaves are transported to the delivery end of the holding part 1 to separate the tea leaves from the ingredients. The sieving part is composed of a plurality of rod members 2 extending in the longitudinal direction of the holding part 1 and separated from each other interposing a prescribed gap. The rod member 2 has a square cross section and is supported in rotatable manner. The gap between the adjacent rod members 2 is made to be adjustable.
