PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for providing work point details and a server for providing work point details capable of preventing an error in counting work points by determining an error of equipment automatically by the server and obtaining maintenance work points taking equipment into account and shortening the time required for calculating work points. SOLUTION: Work points when performing vehicle maintenance are retrieved by taking equipment information obtained by accepting an input of customer's vehicle information and analyzing and retrieving the vehicle information into account to prepare work point details, and an estimate of vehicle maintenance is calculated corresponding to work items selected by a customer from among the work point details to prepare the work point details and estimate details as display data.
