PURPOSE: To provide a starter control device capable of being structured easily when it is consolidated with an auxiliary switch, preventing the starter from being left turning even in case a semiconductor relay goes in breakdown in the shortcircuited condition, and of driving the starter even when its arithmetic processing part has gone in breakdown. CONSTITUTION: The starter control device is equipped with a control circuit part 11, a semiconductor relay 12 to perform control of the auxiliary switch 5 installed on the starter, and a drive signal sensing part 30 to sense On/Off of the drive signal for the auxiliary switch 5 fed from a key switch 14 by measuring the voltage at the L-terminal 10 of the relay 12, whereby the control of the starter is conducted by actuating the auxiliary switch 5 on the basis of the sensing result of the drive signal sensing part 30.
