PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing a functional drink by using Houttuynia cordata, green tea or persimmon leaves, Acanthopanax, licorice roots. Therefore the manufactured drink provides nutrients, removes hangover and prevents adult diseases. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a functional drink comprises the steps of: collecting, washing and cutting stems, roots, and leaves of Houttuynia cordata and Acanthopanax, stems of licorice roots, and green tea or persimmon leaves; mixing Houttuynia cordata 15%, green tea or persimmon leaves 60%, Acanthopanax 15% and licorice roots 10%; boiling them in water within a temperature of 150 deg.C for 2 hours to obtain an extract; and processing the extract into a drink.
