PURPOSE: A caloric control apparatus for a top burner is provided to allow for accuracy of control by permitting valves to be controlled through an electronic control rather than manual operation. CONSTITUTION: A caloric control apparatus comprises a signal input unit for inputting a caloric control signal; a valve for opening/shutting supply of fuel; a valve driving unit; and a micro computer(10) for driving the valve driving unit in accordance with the caloric control signal input from the signal input unit. The micro computer includes output ports(P1,P2,P3,P4) for outputting signals for controlling the valve, and an input port(I1) for receiving a signal for sensing whether the valve operates in a normal manner.
