PURPOSE: A lifesaving air vest and preparation thereof are provided which the wearer can float in the air by charging a gas therein, thereby a casualty can wait a rescue without the body heat reduction or the fatigue accumulation for a long time. CONSTITUTION: The lifesaving air vest having a gas supply part to instantly inflate comprises an air vest(1) and a balloon. The air vest(1) has a vest modal balloon(4) for a gas to be inserted into, and the vest modal balloon(4) and the balloon are integral with each other to communicate the gas, and so they play a role of one balloon when the gas is supplied. On the front side(6) of the air vest, attached are a gas supply part(5) and gas escape controller part(20) to escape the gas in the air vest(1) outside. On back side of the air vest, formed is a balloon storage part(24) to install the balloon.
