PURPOSE:To provide a touch detector capable of detecting accurate touch information without using the event butter of a large capacity. CONSTITUTION:When a switch is successively turned on and off corresponding to key pressing and detaching operations, a switch matrix 3 generates state information expressing a key pressing event or a key detaching event. A controller 1 generates the touch information corresponding to the on/off timings of the switch. When the touch information stored in a memory 5 is in the standby state of read from a CPU 20 and when the new key pressing or key detaching is generated, the controller 1 invalidates the state information and the touch information corresponding to the previous key pressing or the previous key detaching. |
