<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the getting on or off of a riding person by eliminating any overhung at a rear part of a body liable to interfere especially in his mounting behavior when he gets on or off to make the width of a floor so large as to let both end parts thereof be positioned outside each external surface of rear two wheels. SOLUTION: This wheel chair 1 has two front wheels and two rear wheels and a single seat 7 is arranged almost at the center part across the width of the body thereof and a flat floor 5 is provided below the seat between a steering handle 10 of the front wheels and the seat 7. Four wheels are so arranged to have a motor for driving the rear wheels and a battery below the seat. In this case, a tread TR between the two rear wheels 3 and 3 is made smaller than that TF between the front wheels 2 and 2 while the width of the floor is made larger so that both side end parts of the floor are positioned outward from the external surfaces 3a and 3a of the two rear wheels.</p> |
