PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized photosemiconductor electrode of high photoelectric conversion efficiency that can be reliably supplied by the industrial sector. SOLUTION: This dye-sensitized photosemiconductor electrode is formed by sticking a peroxide of the same metal kind as a semiconductor material to the surface of a metal oxide semiconductor 2, calcinating and then sticking a sensitizing dye. Since the peroxide of the same kind as the semiconductor material is not gelled over a long period of time without a stabilizing agent such as alkanolamine, the dye-sensitized photosemiconductor electrode of high photoelectric conversion efficiency can be stably supplied even in prolonged mass production. |
