SOLUTION: A display device is provided with a thin film transistor Qsig which is controlled by a scan signal so as to take in a display signal supplied from the outside, a display pixel PX which is driven corresponding to the display signal applied to the switch element Qsig, and a static memory part SM which holds the display signal applied to the display pixel PX in a stil picture display mode. The static memory part SM is connected so as to receive a memory control signal independent of the scan signal and is controlled by the memory control signal so as to drive the display pixel PX in accordance with the held display signal. |
